Expansion of Railway Network in Punjab

Expansion of Railway Network in Punjab

Hi friends in this resource we will discuss about the railway up gradation which is going to take place in the state of Punjab. The state of Punjab plays a key role in the economy of the country but still there is a feeling that the railway networks of the state must be upgraded, and as a matter of fact this upgradation will definitely be very useful for the people of Punjab.

Apart from serving people this upgradation also helps to increase the freight and passenger requirement of upcoming refinery, thermal plants and ancillary industry. The Deputy Chief Minister of the Punjab Sukhbir Singh Badal have recently ensured that the Government will speak with the central Railway minister Mamta Banerjee and will definiety request her for the massive upgradation of Railway network in the state.

So here are some key reasons for the Punjab Government to seek for upgradation in railway network,

1) For the past 62 years, after Independence, the railway system used in Punjab was like medieval era rail network.

2) This old system must definitely need changes for the growths of the state which directly results in the growth of the country also.

3) The previous big project that Punjab had was the Bhakra dam project and after that there were no big projects like Bhakra until the Bathinda Refinery project was established din the state.

4) Bathinda Refinery is a multi core project, which was set up in the state and this will be a great gift for the state.

5) But the keep the project a successful one, the Government was in need of a massive railway upgradation and that too in this busy industrialized region of the state.

So let us hope that the Railway minister Mamta Banerjee takes necessary step and allot fund for this railway expansion, because this will help Punjab in many ways.

Have a nice day and Love peace all time
