Shimla

The Queen of hills and is a capital city of Himachal Pradesh. Shimla is very well connected with Punjab with a broad National Highway and toy train. It is hardly 4 hours drive from Chandigarh or Panchkula. Hundreds of buses from all over Punjab and Himachal ply to Shimla round the clock.

Toy train is also available from Kalka. The experience of travelling in a toy train through the hills and 103 small and big tunnels is amazing and enchanting.

Dharamshala

Dharamshala is yet another beautiful hill station and is around 75 Kms from Punjab border near Pathankot, 150 Kms from Jalandhar, 150 Kms from Nangal and 250 Kms from Chandigarh. It is very well connected by road, toy train till Kangra and also by air.

Mcleodganj

Also known as upper Dharamshala is a city of the Holy Dalai Lama. Upper Dharamshala has many places to visit. Bhagsu Nag Temple, Water fall, Naddi, Talnu villages. Winters will give you the chiling and enjoyable experience of snow. The environment is pollution free, pleasant and cool.

Kangra

Kangra District is also famous for many other Pilgrim places where thousands of devotees come from all over India, like Chintpurni, Chamunda Devi Temple, Jwalaji Temple, Brajeshwari Temple in Kangra, Kunal Pathari Mata Temple.

Number of buses ply from all the major cities of Punjab to Kangra, Dharamshala and Mcleodganj. Nearest airport is gaggal airport which is 5 Kms from Kangra, 10 Kms from Dharamshala.

Manali

Manali is also known as honey mooners paradise as it is a favourite destination for the newly wed couples. Situated on the banks of river Beas it is an amazing hill station. Adventure lovers have many spots for river rafting, rock climbing, river crossing, trekking.

The visit to Manali is not complete without going to Rohtang Pass which opens in the month of May. 60 Kms on Manali - Leh Highway the journey to Rohtang is extremely enjoyable. You will find snow there round the year.

Dalhousie, Khajiar and Chamba

For nature lovers and peace lovers Chamba is a perfect place. Around 120 Kms from Pathankot Chamba is a small hill town not explored much by the tourists.

Dalhousie on the way is a beautiful hill station with big mountains. This city used to be the favourite spot for the Britishers. Tall Deodar trees add to the beauty of this calm city.

Near Dalhousie there is Khajiar also known as Mini Switzerland. The lush green deodar trees and picturesque locations will remind you of Switzerland.

Kasauli

Kasauli is just 60 Kms from Chandigarh. It is a calm city with dust free zones. On the way to Kasauli you can enjoy the ropeway ride at Timber Trail.
