Rail Budget 2011 New Trains for Punjab

People of Punjab were expecting some good package for Punjab in this Rail Budget presented by Mamta Bannerji. However Railway Budget 2011 has led to war of words between the opposition parties. Punjab ministers are not happy with the way Mamata Bannerji has treated Punjab in this Rail Bidget 2011.

The only major relief for Punjab in this Budget is New Shatabdi Express between Delhi Ludhiana. Ludhiana is an industrial hub of Punjab and there was a demand for Delhi Ludhiana Shatabdi Express which has been met.

There is no other major announcement for Punjab in Rail Budget 2011

Yes, this is true that we have very few things for punjab in this rail budget. Bengal because of mamta banarjee is benefitted more in this.
