Sardar Pratap Singh Bajwa is one of the most popular political leaders as well as MPs of Punjab. A leader of the Indian National Congress, also often referred to as INC or simply the Congress party, Sardar Pratap Singh Bajwa is an MP of Punjab or Member of the Parliament from Punjab. Sardar Pratap Singh Bajwa has been elected in the 15th Lok Sabha after his victory from the Gurdaspur Lok Sabha constituency, Punjab, in the Parliamentary Election of 2009. At that election, he won over the thrice winner Vinod Khanna with a margin of 8,342 votes. Apart from his political career, Sardar Pratap Singh Bajwa is also an eminent social worker. He is remembered to facilitate the NGO Adhaar Foundation and thereby providing people with free medical aids, medical health check up camps as well as mobile medical vans in the Gurdaspur Parliamentary constituency from his MP LAD fund. He also has a keen interest in Punjab Games and Sports and serves as the President of the Judo Federation of Punjab.
