of the Khalsa in 1699 A.D) is a Sikh martial arts festival celebrated, a day after Holi. The purpose is to strengthen Sikh community for military exercises and mock battles which was originated by Guru Gobind Singh. As per lunar Nanakshahi Calendar of Sikhs this festival marks the beginning of the Sikh New Year.

Hola Mohalla Anandpur Sahib turns to be a three days grand festival where there will be exhibitions, mock battles, display of weapons which is followed by competitions on music and poetry. Anandpur Sahib retains an air of festive piety by religious lectures, kirtis performed at Darbars in the presense of Sri Guru Granth Sahib.

There will be devotional show named 'Ekonkar' which teleast various bulletins on Sikh festival at various intervals at 5Am, 8Am, 1PM, 7.30PM between 18th March and 20th March 2011.
