International Dolls Museum, Chandigarh, Punjab


The Chandigarh International Dolls Museum is located in Sector 23 of Chandigarh . Very beautiful puppets and dolls - a collection from more than 20 countries across the globe is worth watching and a great fun.
This Museum is closed on Sundays.

Chandigarh Govt Museum and Art Gallery
The Government Museum and Art Gallery is situated in Sector 10 of Chandigarh
This Museum is open from 10: 00 am to 4:30 p.m. and is open on Tuesday to Sunday but closed on Mondays. Stone sculptors of the Gandhara period are the best collections seen here. Prehistoric fossils and artifacts and modern art and miniature paintings are exhibited here in a systematic way.

Museum of Evolution of Life, Chandigarh


This Museum is situated in Sector 10 of Chandigarh. A beautiful presentation of 5000 years back evolution and civilization of life in Indus Valley to the present day. This museum is open from 10:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday to Sunday but closed on Mondays.

Chandigarh City Museum, Punjab
The City Museum is situated in Sector 10. This is managed by the Department of Urban Planning, Chandigarh ever since it's opening in 1977. This museum is dedicated to the history of Chandigarh in respect of plan and execution of development and present and future. This Museum is very wide spread in three floors. Well maintained and systemativally arranged. Different themes are set up in all the three floors. Design and architecture, the theme of Chandigarh today and tomorrow emphasizing important events and great personalities associated with this Chandigarh city by exhibiting a large collection of rare pictures.

Chandigarh National Gallery of Portraits


National Gallery of Portraits is located in sector 17 of Chandigarh, Punjab. Rare documents and recording of the voices of more than 100 great Indian Freedom Fighters and India’s Independence Movement include Mahatma Gandhi and Jawaharlal Nehru and their Portraits are preserved and exhibited here in this Museum. The gallery also contains more than 1000 photographs and facsimiles of original writings, sculptors and ceramic murals. The library in the gallery also presents more than 1000 books on the freedom struggle of India.
