It gives strength to bones and as it is rich in calcium. The cool green colour of Palak gives a fine texture and the combination of paneer gives a wonderful taste and flavor to the recipe. Punjabi Recipe Palak Paneer can be done in minutes which is of highly nutritious in value.

Ingredients Required to Make Palak Paneer Punjabi Recipe


  • Palak (Spinach) - 1 bunch
  • Oil - 6 tablespoon
  • Paneer (Cottage Cheese) - 200 gms
  • Onion - 2
  • Tomato - 2
  • Green Chillies - 4
  • Ginger garlic paste - 1 tsp
  • Garam masala powder - 1 tsp
  • Salt to taste.


  • How to Prepare Punjabi Recipe Palak Paneer?


    1. Heat oil in a fry pan and Palak Paneer Punjabi Recipedeep fry panner pieces till golden brown and keep it aside.

    2. Heat oil in the frypan and add chopped onions, when it turns translucent add tomato, green chillies, ginger garlic paste, garam masala powder one by one and saute for 2 to 3 minutes and keep it aside.

    3. Add the chopped palak (spinach) in a vessel of boiling water and cook for 4 minutes. When cooled blend it in a mixer grinder to a fine paste. Add the fried tomato onion mixture to this palak paste and grind it to a fine paste.

    4. Add oil in a frypan and add the palak puree to it and saute till the mixture leaves oil and add salt to taste. Now add the fried paneer to this mixture added to 1 cup of water and cook till the gravy thickens.

    Now your favourite dish Punjabi Recipe Palak Paneer is ready to serve. Punjabi recipe Palak Paneer goes well with steamed rice, rotis and naans.
