Then she appeared in the movie 'Jurm' (2005) a thriller film directed by Vikram Bhatt where she played the role of Sonia against Bobby Deol and Lara Dutta. In 2006 she appeared in the film 'Dor' by Nagesh Kukunoor where she played as a determined wife who fights to save her husband. Ayesha Takia and Shreyas Talpade where the other lead actors featured in that film. 'Manorama Six Feet Under' was the next film of Gul in the year 2007 in which she casted on the role of Nimmi and this film was appreciated for its dialogues. In 2008, Gul was seen in the film 'Hello' where she casted as Priyanka and this movie was based on Chetan Bhagat's 'One Night @ the Call Center'. This movie was a box office hit.
