Educational Qualification Required for Police Constable Recruitment in Punjab Police for 2011


Minimum qualification is, 10+2 or Intermediate for Police Constable Recruitment in Punjab. The applicants should have completed 10+2 in any stream. The applicants should have passed their HSC examination by taking Punjabi language as compulsory/ optional subject. Minimum qualification for ex-servicemen is 10th or matriculation.

Other Qualifications Required for Police Constable Recruitment in Punjab Police for 2011


  • The applicant should be a citizen of India.
  • The applicants should be agreed to service in any area of Punjab or abroad.
  • He should be good character person.
  • The applicants should be between 18 years to 25 years as on 01 January 2011. Upper age relaxation is available for SC/ST and OBC candidates.
  • The applicant should have not more than one living wife/husband.
  • The applicant should be healthy and not be a physically handicapped.

    All male and female candidates have to send the following documents along with dully filled and signed applications forms before 17th October 2011. All the documents should be signed by the applicants and they should be self attested. The documents are:-
  • HSC or matriculation certificate Xerox for Age Proof
  • +2 or Equivalent certificate xerox as Educational qualification certificate.
  • Caste certificate xerox for SC/ST/OBC candidates.
  • Employment registration certificate.
  • Sports Certificate xerox needed if the applicant is applying through sports quota.
  • N.C.C. certificate xerox is required if the applicant is applying through N.C.C. quota.
  • Driving license xerox (If you have any DL)
  • Discharge Certificate (Required only for Ex servicemen)
